Clear, lustrous straw yellow in colour. The aroma is flowery, fine-grained and delicate, with notes of acacia blossom and fruit ranging from pear to apricot and citron, finishing with some dried fruit. In the mouth it is fresh, full flavoured and well orchestrated with delicate notes of fruit. It makes an ideal aperitif and matches well with cold appetisers, soups and cream soups, fish based dishes, and roasted poultry.

 

Chardonnay

Crystal clear golden yellow in colour. The complex nose blends finesse and elegance, finishing long and rich. Lots of exotic fruit, ranging from banana to mango, and then chestnut honey, vanilla, oregano and roasted hazelnuts. Plush, pronounced and lingering it opens on the palate with a light aftertaste of plain chocolate. It beautifully complements risottos, white meat dishes, crustaceans and oven baked fish.

 

Friulano

Lustrous straw yellow in colour with golden highlights. The nose reveals fruity notes of golden delicious apple, russet pear, followed by lime blossom honey and an undertone of wild flowers and sun-dried hay. In the mouth it is surefooted, mineral, with a good backbone and a pleasant long almond finish. In Friuli, it is traditionally served as an aperitif and goes perfectly well with San Daniele prosciutto, soft and medium hard cheeses, pastas and risottos, white meat and oven baked fish.

 

Pinot Grigio

Lustrous straw yellow in colour. The nose opens with Fuji apple and pineapple, followed by hints of aromatic herbs, in particular dried oregano and rosemary. In the mouth it is generous with a mineral edge; enveloping and well balanced. Excellent served as an aperitif, it complements spring vegetable risottos as well as fish and white meat dishes.

The nose is enticing, vibrant and complex, driven by exotic fruit from mango to passion fruit with hints of grapefruit, citron and elderflower, subtle sage and catnip. In the mouth it is fresh-tasting, savoury, elegant, well balanced and long lasting. Excellent served as an aperitif, it pairs beautifully with appetisers, asparagus and herb-flavoured dishes, and crustaceans.

 

Malvasia

Golden straw yellow in colour. The bouquet is slightly aromatic. Hints of spices, from cinnamon to pink pepper and nutmeg, blend wonderfully with the fruity notes of dried apricot. In the mouth it is pleasingly savoury, balanced by soft tannins, a good body and long finish. The ideal match is with mixed beans soups, fish flavoured risottos, seafood pastas, crustaceans, and grilled fish.

Deep ruby red in colour. The nose is ample and complex with fruity notes that recall black-cherry jam and ripe wild blackberry, which develop into liquorice, sweet tobacco, coffee and cocoa. In the mouth it is warm, caressing, solidly built with velvety, soft tannins. Very elegant and long lasting. It is a perfect match with roasted and charcoal grilled meat, and medium to mature cheeses

 

Schioppettino di Prepotto

Deep ruby red in colour with purple tints. The nose displays fruity aromas of blueberry, blackcurrant and bramble that blend perfectly with the spicy notes of green peppercorn. The mouthfeel is velvety, fresh, enveloping and well balanced. Ageing it develops an elegant bouquet of autumn leaves and spices. It is a great accompaniment to rustic style dishes like those of the traditional Friulan cuisine, roasts and pot-roasts, game and mature cheeses.
